BWoC @ GA (Black Women of the Chalice June Gathering)
June 18, 2026 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM ET
Come, say hi, celebrate with us, and give yourself a break during virtual GA. Join us for a spiritually grounding, early morning dance party. Black Women of the Chalice is open to Black UU Women+ Faith Professionals.

WHO?
Our service will be a monthly opportunity for those around the world looking for sound theology, passionate and progressive preaching, liberal topics, and queer-friendly leadership.

USA Folx: This space may be especially attractive to those in ministry looking for a chill place to take their collar off, or to people looking to bolster their allyship (which starts with strong relationship-building)! This is for allies, ...Black folk, any folk, really.
HOW?
Our siblings in Kenya will conduct parts of our service each month on the Zoom service, as a part of our experiential learning model which is a fancy word for hands-on training. Women and girls in leadership will learn elements of worship, choir performance and religious education through practicing in real time and receiving coaching and mentorship.
They will also attend an optional fellowship and lesson before service ( which is open to all).
WHY? ( Full explanation of why we are doing this )
